SQL Log job Error code 0x800040

Veeam Logoby ober72 » Mon Jun 13, 2016 4:42 pm

Hi Folks,

I am putting in a support call but wondered if any of you had seen this:

Enumerating SQL Server databases
Error code: 0x800401fd Failed to invoke func [ExploreInstances]: Object is not connected to server. Error code: 0x800401fd Failed to invoke func [ExploreInstances]: Object is not connected to server.

The overall daily report has only a warning and it claims 100% SLA and databases protected so perhaps a false positive.

Thanks

Hi Geoff,

It seems that debug log investigation is required, so, kindly, keep working with the support team and don’t forget to update this thread with the results. Thanks.

This turned out to be a permissions issue.

Thanks
