Storage Snapshot - Collecting Disk Files

Post by BackupTest90 »

Hello,
we have a backupjob, that includes our 10 DB Server and this job starts every evening and run approx. 2,5 hours.
I check the logs the last days and in the logs, there are two task that stay for a long time.

1) Collecting disk files location data - approx. 2hours at one VM that have 350GB capacity
2)All VMs have been prepared for storage snapshot - approx. 2hours

What did they do there? Is there any possiblity to reduce the time for preparing the storage snap?

Regards,

Hi Martin,

I would suggest to contact our support team to clarify what exactly provokes delays during mentioned operations, apparently debug logs analysis is required.

Thanks!
