Hi All,
We are currently doing a DC refresh, and we are purchasing new backup hardware as part of that.
Considering using storage spaces tiering as our first hop with refs. The idea being we write into the SSD pool first then let if flush to the slower 7k sas disks. You can can do some cool things with the setup if done with PowerShell.
Surely this would improve our nightly delta times to some degree. Interested to here how this may effect block clone but also.
Has anyone done any real world stuff with this yet? Good/bad?
Cheers.
