Hello
I Have this enviroment:
https://1drv.ms/u/s!AhEgG4C2IYtVgt4gvga_tlujVEzuPQ
The Gateway and Proxy is the same VEEAM Server.
I Have one virtual machine with 3HD 60GB/50TB/60TB
I configure one task with virtual machine complete. The full backup is very low, I need make this backup 24h (full backup).
The ratio is 500-600MB/s
If the add two virtual machines in this task, the ratio is over 700-850MB/s
If the make backup with only hard disk 50TB the rario is 300-450MB/s
I confuse because is more speed when I make task with more virtual machine.
Other test:
I create one source new as NAS over StoreOnce.
\\10.10.10.1\NAS
I connect with this share folder.
I copy one file 1TB on share folder--> Ratio 180-200MB/s
I copy two file 1TB on share folder--> Ratio 300-400MB/s
I copy 20 file 1TB on share folder--> Ratio 950MB/s
How is possible that Windows copy 20 files ratio over 10GB/s, but VEEAM or 1-2 files copy windows ratio is less.
Are there any parameter for force maximun ratio with only file backup?
Thanks!

Re: StoreOnce with VEEAM low perfomance
Hello,
I understand, that this does not help you with your one big server, but this is the current situation.
You can test with high and low bandwidth mode (see whitepaper) - depending on the hardware it can make a big difference. I can also recommend using the latest HPE firmware.
Best regards,
Hannes
Explanation: Veeam creates one file for each VM on StoreOnce. The more files you write in parallel, the more speed you get.I confuse because is more speed when I make task with more virtual machine.
If you do backup of 20 VMs, speed will be arount 950MB/sI copy 20 file 1TB on share folder--> Ratio 950MB/s

Re: StoreOnce with VEEAM low perfomance
As your test clearly stated (even outside of our software) StoreOnce scale with multiple streams while a single stream will not get the full speed when performed allone.
You can check with a Catalyst license and by addint StoreOnce to Veeam with it + WAN setting described above if this will be faster.
