Hi,
We're running a small lab setup with a Dell T630 and ESXi 6.0 with RAID 0 SSD DAS disks. We have a laptop with the Veeam client installed and are running the basic VeeamZIP backup to a USB attached to the laptop.
We are attempting to backup a 100GB VM and the backup job is running at 3MB/s and the Bottleneck is reported to be "99% source", being that the VM is hosted on an SSD directly attached to the host I find that difficult to understand.
Could anyone shed any light?
Thanks,
-

Re: Super slow backups (3MB/s) from VMs hosted on DAS
Hi Brad, in this setup data is retrieved by Veeam B&R over network, that's why the source is reported as bottleneck.
