[Cloud Director] Support for version 10.5

Not sooner than in November.

However, we were able to create a hotfix that delivers basic compatibility with 10.5 (backup and restore only).

We will be publishing a KB article shortly. Meanwhile, ensure you're on the latest V12 patch level as the hotfix will require this.

Then most likely you did something wrong as other users are not experiencing any issues with the hotfix.

In any case, this is not a support forum. Whenever you face any technical issues or errors, you should always contact our Customer Support as a first step.

This looks like an error with the plug-in, is it what is failing?

“ Veeam Plug-in for VMware Cloud Director does not support Cloud Director 10.5, even with the compatibility patch installed. ”

Please provide us with an updated release date. vCD 10.5 is critical for VMware partners who need to migrate over to NSX-T with federation support. NSX-V is officially end of support at the end of this year and previous versions of vCD do not support NSX federation features like NSX-V does.

Yes I see this KB unfortunately without the plugin working clients will not be able to manage their backups.

Cloud Director CDP failback to a different location fails with the error:
