SureBackup and different subnets
Hello,
I have a Vm Network with different subnets in it like 192.168.5.X, 10.1.5.X etc
In my Virtual Appliance I can't configure different subnets for the same vNic.
Is there a way to configure this kind of configuration ?
Cause in my surebackup job the vm failed to powering on, it would be nice to be able to just boot the vm even if the network is not up.
Thanks

Re: SureBackup and different subnets
This is a possible configuration. Can you please use the advanced setting.
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=100
You can then create 2 subnets for the same network.
Important point is to deactivate DHCP on the same wizard page.

Re: SureBackup and different subnets
Hello Andreas,
Thanks for your answers.I already used the advanced setting.
But my problem is my vNic named "LAN" is used for the Subnet: 192.168.1.X
I cant reuse this vNic named "LAN" for my subnet : 10.1.5.X..
It s seems that is not possible to associate different isolated network for the same vNiC

Re: SureBackup and different subnets
Hi Philippe,
looks like this was possible in the old times but is now prohibited. I am sorry for the confusion.
Can you please open a support case and check with our support if there is any method to disable the check?

Re: SureBackup and different subnets
Please let me add that you can create 2 virtual labs. One for each subnet and let SureBackup/Application Group just check the VMs from this specific subnet. A bit more legwork but a good working way to go for now.

Re: SureBackup and different subnets
Hello Andreas,
I opened a support case, for the moment the support told me it's not possible to have different subnet in the same vNic
Unfortunately my Domain Controler is in one of this subnet, so I can't do this for the moment.
