Hi there,
I'm getting a little confused by the various IP settings within the Virtual Lab configuration based upon my configuration.
Production Environment
Subnet: 10.100.0.0/21
Gateway: 10.100.7.254
VLAN: 205
DR Environment - Where my VBR server resides.
Subnet: 10.99.0.0/16
Gateway: 10.99.1.10
VLAN: 206
What are my options with SureBackup appliance deployment to my Production environment? I've read that the VBR server needs to be able to route to the masquerade addressing used by the appliance?

Re: SureBackup - IP Configuration
Hi,
Thanks
That's correct. Why not to install a secondary Veeam server in the production solely for the purpose of performing backup verification?I've read that the VBR server needs to be able to route to the masquerade addressing used by the appliance?
Thanks

Re: SureBackup - IP Configuration
Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
So I have a Windows Server at Production that acts as a repository and is managed by VBR in DR. Could I install it here and have them coexist?

Re: SureBackup - IP Configuration
Yes, you can do that. You also need to make sure that SureBackup jobs that are run by the secondary VBR and Backup Jobs that are run by the primary VBR do not overlap.
Thanks
Thanks
