Hello,
I am trying to devise a way to have a Surebackup job check a remote server as fully as possible. There have been occasions where a Windows update breaks remote users ability to login to the server. There is no option for this kind of server as there is for a Domain Controller or a SQL server. I know we can use a powershell script to verify specific services are running, however I wanted to see if there is a way to simulate an actual login to the terminal / remote server and report the result.
So far what I did was just create a separate Application Group with the primary DC and the Termserver, then keep it running and login manually to the Termserver to make sure it works.
Thank you.
