Hello
I am in the process of testing VM's with Surebackup. The application group has 28 Vms and a Surebackup test job has been created linking to this application group.
When the Surebackup job runs the VM's are created one at a time in the resource pool. Is it possible for a limited number of VM's to be registered, tested and then unregistered rather than all of the VM's in the application group registering and not unregistering until all of the tests are complete? We do not have the resource for so many VM's to be registered on a host. The job got to about 10 VM's registered before I had to stop it.
Many thanks
Andrew

Re: Surebackup
Hi Andrew,
It's not necessary to add all VMs to the application group, as it needed to fire up VMs on which verified VMs is dependent.
Thus VMs that are out of application group will be tested one by one.
However, maybe you have a use case for adding all VMs to the same application group? Thanks!

Re: Surebackup
Hello
Thank you for the reply.
I thought that VMs had to be in an Application Group for SureBackup testing, but I can select No Application Group on the job and select a Linked Job. Many thanks for the tip.
Regards
Andrew
