We have a SureBackup job running weekly and one of the linked jobs contains two (2) SQL servers.
One of the SQL servers is a full version of SQL and port 1433 is open.
The other SQL server is Express Edition and port 1433 is NOT open (in Windows Firewall).
If I configure the SureBackup job to run SQL test script, the first server works and the Express Edition one fails.
Is there any way to configure SureBackup just to run the test script against one SQL server and not the other?
I don't want to split the backups into two separate jobs.
Not a big deal, so for now I have just turned off the SQL test script, but if anyone knows a way just to target one server for SQL testing and not the other, I'm all ears ...
Cheers,
Steve

Re: SureBackup with SQL test script (but not all VMs)
Hi Steve
In the step „linked jobs“, you can click on advanced.
This allows you to add different settings for every VMs.

Re: SureBackup with SQL test script (but not all VMs)
thanks @Mildur,
you know I would have bet money that I had looked at every option.
clearly I did not.
found the option you referenced and it is all configured okay now.
cheers,
Steve
