Hi all
We have a problem with a very long synthetic full backup.
Here are the key data :
ESXi 5.1.0
Veeam Backup & Replication 7.0.0.690
CBT Enabled
Backup Mode Synthetic Full
Here is a screenshot of the Job Progress Window :
I know synthetic full backups are slow, but normally the synthetic full takes not this long.
Should we wait or what is the safest / clean method cancel this job?
Best regards,
veremin

The read percentage stuck for about 40 hours look unexpected, indeed. Have you had a chance to contact our support team with this problem? Thanks.

It is not even started to perform synthetic. I would recommend contacting support as well, as debug logs investigation is definitely required to understand what's the job is doing at that very moment and what is the reason for this behavior. You can either shutdown it manually by ending all Veeam* processes on Veeam B&R console or wait until our support figures out what is going on after logs review.

Ok, it seems like a storage problem of our NAS Device and not a Veeam related problem.
Thank you all for your help!

Hrm. I'm encountering a similar issue, but it can't be my storage. It's a VNX with quite a bit of power.
If you find a solution to your storage device, post an update back here please. Thanks

I would recommend opening your own case for investigation of your particular case, since the reasons of the observed behavior could be different.

Interesting, I will observe if this issue will come back. I updated the Firmware of the NAS to be sure.
