Test CDP Replica

Hello everybody,

I have recently migrated from veeam replication to CDP for my most critical machine to my DR site.

CDP has the great advantage that their is no snapshot whatsoever so my RPO are crazy short. But now I am not able to test the VM on the DR site user SureReplica, cdp jobs are not showing on the list.

Does anyone knows how to test the integrity of my cdp relicas ?

and welcome to the forums.

The only way today is clicking on "failover now". We know, that this would involve manual steps to avoid issues with the production environment. We take your request as noted +1 for SureBackup for CDP

+1 to some sort of CDP testing, or the option to power down source VM in a "planned failover" don't boot the second site until all data replicated. Failback should be the same.

Another option would be to look at Veeam Orchestrator - https://www.veeam.com/disaster-recovery ... rator.html

It can do automated testing of CDP and many other things. I know most don't want to have to purchase another product and can understand.
