Re: The object has already been deleted or has not been comp
Hi, Chris. I agree, reducing the default rescan period to about 4 hours or so sounds reasonable to me given vastly improved rescan performance. Let me check with the devs and QC on their thoughts on this. Thanks!

[MERGED] Erorr msg: The object has been deleted or has not b
Hi
We are trying to replicate 3 VMs and are getting an error message:
Processing VMNAME Error: The object has been deleted or has not been completely created
The source VC shows that the snapshot is created and removed OK. The destination host has a new _replica VM created but the job appears to fail without doing any disk replication.
Logged as case # 01063532
Has anyone else seen this before?
Source system is VC with ESX 4.0 Patch 7
Destination system is ESXi 5.5 host.
There is ample space on the source volumes for the snapshots.

Stewart, any recent changes to the environment (vCenter/host upgrades)?

Re: The object has already been deleted or has not been comp
Hi. No, no recent changes, and the destination host was a clean build, not an upgrade...
I have also just tried a backup from the source which worked fine, and then a restore to the destination which failed with the same error.

If none of the hints provided in this thread work, let's wait for what support could advise after reviewing the logs.

Hi. Support suggested re-creating the jobs which then came up with NFC errors. Solved using KB1198.
