Does this sound like a good practice for getting our data off site? Are there any complications with doing this?
We're looking at a third party having the ability to backup our data off site in a way that we cannot access it unless we go through them. Would using the Veeam agent to backup our repository be feasible?

Re: Third-party backup of our Veeam repository?
It`s a good practice to have a copy of backups off site for a case of emergency.
You may consider Veeam cloud providers.
Thanks!

Re: Third-party backup of our Veeam repository?
Do we have to worry about any file locking issues if the third party's Veeam agent is backing our repository up while our Veeam jobs are running?

It depends on the third party software. VBR locks files when merging, but doesn`t when copying.
