Tools to extract data from Veeam Backup

Post by aidechoute »

Hi all,

I have to collect some data on a veaam B&R installation.
I want to know if there is an easy way (Tools or something else) to find this informations:

• The total volume size for all the job
• The total volume size for the incremantal backup
• Compression rate for all the backup
• Deduplication rate for all the backup

Thanks for your help

Hello,

You can either use pre-defined report templates that are available in Veeam ONE or write some PowerShell scripts to get this kind of information.

Thank you!

Yes, it is compatible, but not all backup data is published in B&R v6.5 for the reports. It seems like the info you're after can only be obtained from Veeam B&R v7.
