Hi,
we are starting backups from a VBR server on the HQ to several BO that have some ESXi hosts. ESXi hosts configured in a central vCenter server running on HQ.
When starting the jobs we receive a message : Check if target repository has overridable host. then it is listed that the product version is version 10.0.0.4461 and transportversion is 10.0.0.4462. This is quite informational info that is listed in the logfiles. However then the errors occur : RPC client fialed to call method [DoRpcWithBinary] > RPC fails. Then it retries infinite resulting in a slow VBR server.
Any experiences with this behaviour ?

Re: Unable to start backups
Any chance this setup has some Veeam B&R hotfix installed? Anyway, you'd better contact support directly with this kind of issue.

Re: Unable to start backups
We have already upgraded everything that is Veeam related. Really have no clue how to troubleshoot from Veeam perspective, gathering information that can be helpfull for the WAN provider. It is not only Veeam related but also effective on for example file copies over the WAN infrastructure.

Re: Unable to start backups
Our engineers will be able to tell whether this is Veeam B&R related or not and assist with further troubleshooting. Don't hesitate to contact them.
