Update 4 - Component Update

Post by Archipelego »

Good afternoon,

Today we have upgraded Veeam from update 3a to update 4. Following the walk through, the upgrade went as expected. However, when opening up Veeam for the first time it informs me that it needs to upgrade Transport on the Veeam server. I click on apply, after which the upgrade is uploaded and applied sucessfully.

However, in Veeam Backup Infrastructure, under Backup Proxies, it lists our Veeam server as being out off date. If I close Veeam and reopen it, Veeam again tells me that the transport needs upgrading. I'm stuck in a cycle of the update showing as being installed, but then showing as out of date.

If I click on Backup repositories, it also shows that our three repositories (located on a QNAP) are out of date and require the transport. I right click each repository and click upgrade, which runs through successfully. However refreshing the view shows that they are still out of date.

Could anyone offer any assistance?

Hi Jon, you'd better contact technical support directly with this issue. Thanks!
