upgrade VeeamB&R 8 upd3. to version 9.5 upd1
Hello
I have a question about the upgrade from Veeam B&R version 8 upd3 to version 9.5 upd 1.
The last time I update our version that was when we updated to version 8 upd 3. because we wanted to update our vcenter to version 6.
After the vcenter upgrade we had some problems with CBT, ( but that was a vmware issue)
So for now I want to know if anyone had problems /issues after upgrading Veeam version 8 upd. 3 to version 9.5 upd. 1?
I mean issues with CBT or other things, I hope to hear something ( an aswer as no problem is also ok).

Hi Ed, if you've already performed CBT reset after addressing VMware CBT issues, you're good to go. You shouldn't have any issues with upgrading Veeam B&R itself.

[MERGED] CBT reset following B&R upgrade to V9.5
Hi
I am currently running B&R 9 (9.0.0.1491) and recall when upgrading from previous version the release notes advised a reset of CBT for all VMs backed up.
I am now preparing to upgrade to B&R 9.5 U1 and note that this instruction is not included in the current release notes.
Is a reset of CBT for each VM still advised [in general] following an upgrade, or is was this something specific to Version 9.0?
Phil

[MERGED] Veeam upgrade to 9.5
Hi All,
Just a quick question.
Just upgraded from V8 to V9.5. I presume I do not need to perform any full backups or reset CBT?
Just let the backups run normally?
Thanks
Matt

Re: Veeam upgrade to 9.5
Hi Matt,
You can run the backups as usual without re-configuration or any specific actions like running active full.
Please review this thread and the link related to CBT issues just to ensure you're on the safe side. Thanks!
