Hello,
I was wondering if it's possible to use VEEAM to backup some servers at our DR site (test, dev, etcc).
1) Is this possible with the following?
a) backup proxy at DR site
b) configure repository at DR site
c) point VM backups to DR repositiry?
d) also use DR backup proxy for replication from production.
thanks

Yes, using local Veeam B&R instance you can backup up VMs residing on DR hosts via proxy server and to repository both located in DR site. Also it is a good practice to have proxies at both locations for optimal replication performance.

Re: Use VEEAM to backup servers at DR Site
Hello,
Yes, absolutely. When you configure both proxy and repository servers at the DR site, backup traffic is kept local at the DR site. DR proxy can also be used as a target proxy for replication jobs configured to protect production site.
Thank you!
