Using Windows Server Core (no GUI) for Veeam Backup proxy?

Post by albertwt »

Hi everyone,

As I need to replace the existing Windows Server 2012 R2 (Desktop Experience) VMs.
May I know if I can use Windows Server Core 2016 as the Veeam backup proxy server or the Windows Server VM with no GUI ?

I cannot find the minimum specification from this: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=110

Thank you.

Hello,
yes, it's listed in the system requirements (any internet search engine should find that ;-))
