Can anyone verify that in Veeam B&R v10 its still possible (like with 9.5) to exclude hosts that you don't need to backup/monitor using the exclusion rules? So, not every host in the VMWare environment needs a license?
Also, back in v9.5u3 there was a change whereby VeeamZIP required licenses "if a backup server has a paid license installed, VeeamZIP consumes a license slot" - this change was then later retracted with a hotfix to ensure VeeamZip remained free. Can someone confirm this is still the case in v10? See this post for the issue I refer to: veeam-backup-replication-f2/is-veeamzip ... 47746.html

Re: V10 Licensing Exclusions
V10 Veeam Universal License(VUL) is allocated when VM Backup/Replication starts, so only needed for protected VMs. You can open License window (under File "burger-style" menu) and see each allocated VUL instance and revoke allocation if it was done by mistake /no more needed, to free up allocated instance.

Re: V10 Licensing Exclusions
As far as I can see, it should have been fixed in v10 RTM code.
