Hi all,
want to license v13 appliance and give it a go, however I cannot get our enterprise manager to connect to it, does it speak on a different port? there doesn't seem to be any option other than a direct .lic file?

Re: V13 license with enterprise manager
Do you use V13 version of Enterprise Manager? As V12 VBEM doesn't know anything about V13 VSA or how to connect or work with one.

Re: V13 license with enterprise manager
Hi @gostev, yes it is the V12 version, we will have to wait for the V13 windows based release or deploy V13 as our enterprise manager in order to license the V13 VSA correct?

Re: V13 license with enterprise manager
hi @gostev,
I am going to deploy V13EM in our environment and re-point our VBR server to it, what is the correct workflow to deploy V13EM and then ensure we can license our V12 VBR against it correctly?
1) remove V12 B&R server (Windows) from V12EM (Windows)
2) revoke license from current v12 EM (windows)
3) install license onto new V13EM (appliance)
4) connectV12 B&R server (Windows) to V13EM (appliance)
I assume that there is no particular migration tool moving between Enterprise Manager v12/v13? The only thing we will need to do is reconnect to the domain and setup roles, currently we only have 1 VBR server (v12) and we will be adding in V13 appliances over time
