I'm in this scenario (from licence FAQ) and have two sites within one organisation -
What if I previously purchased more than one 6-socket bundle of Veeam Backup Essentials?
Customers currently holding licenses for more than 6 sockets (for example, to manage separate VMware vSphere Essentials deployments) will be grandfathered. Their license keys will be converted to the equivalent number of license keys for three 2-socket bundles. They will not be allowed to purchase additional bundles beyond their grandfathered quantity.
What exactly do Veeam mean by grandfathered and how is managing the infrastructure in both sites accomplished when upgraded to v7? Are both Essentials sites effectively merged into one management entity?

Re: v7 licensing question
Hi Ryan, yes I believe so. But kindly please contact our licensing team directly to double check your case. My licensing knowledge is limited to the most basic stuff only. Thanks!
