Re: vCenter 8.0 Update 3 is out. Does this need QA approval?
Any word on when we may see compatibility for Veeam and NSX 4.2? I greatly appreciate that there are KB articles available for vSphere and VMware Cloud Director versions, but I do not see one specifically for NSX.
However, on this KB: https://www.veeam.com/kb4641 it mentions:

I hate to make any assumptions here, so I must ask: Now that Veeam 12.2 is out, has this testing been concluded as mentioned in this KB article so we can upgrade to NSX 4.2 and ensure we won't run into Veeam compatibility issues with Veeam Backup & Replication 12.2?Due to a lack of access to NSX-T 4.2.0, compatibility of NSX-T 4.2.0 and vSphere 8.0.3 has not been tested with Veeam Backup & Replication 12.1.2.
Advice: Customers are advised to await further testing results before deploying in production environments. Testing will be concluded before the next Veeam Backup & Replication release (version 12.2).

Hi Tyler
I have reached out to QA to clarify if it was tested by now.
Best,
Fabian

Hi Tyler,
I got an update from our team.
We have received the NSX-T 4.2 bits a few days ago and we are now in the process of testing them.
Official support for NSX-T 4.2 is expected with the upcoming version 12.3 (Q4 2024). I don't know yet if we will proclaim support for v12.2 as well.
The KB article was updated.
Best,
Fabian
