vcenter server appliance 6.5 backup credential error

Veeam support case ID: 02450548

I have veeam backup and replication 11 and trying to backup vcenter server appliance 6.5.

I get the below error when trying to test the connection using linux credentials :

18/06/2021 1:35:58 PM :: Connecting to the guest OS via SSH Error: Input string was not in a correct format.

Any help is much appreciated.

I think you can not backup the vcenter appliance with our guest processing. Please add it to a separate job and disable guest processing.
