I was wondering if in the current VBR 9.5 update 3 if it supports VCD 9.1? If not supported in the current update will it be supported in the 9.5 update 4, and if that is the case does anyone have a date on the release of the update?

No, it does not. Update 3a (that should be released soon) will bring "compatibility" level support for VMware vCloud Director 9.1.

VMware vCloud Director 9.1 support is also a part of Update 3a, at what we call "compatibility" level. This basically means that if you upgrade to the new platform version, everything you're doing today is guaranteed to continue working. But there are a couple of minor issues around new features introduced in vCloud Director 9.1 (specifically, with Standalone VMs and Guest vLAN Allowed option) which may require manual tweaks after full VM restore. These issues will be documented in the release notes for Update 3a.

We cannot provide any information right now, but typically it takes us about three months to implement support for new platform release.

We're about to deploy vCD 9.7 soon and start testing it soon.

Handling of the SDDC proxy features, and how that would integrate with Veeam.
The added plugin support and enhancements, so that perhaps Veeam can customize the UI even more..

I believe it is close to being supported. Most likely it will come with our next minor patch update 4b.
