I am replicating VM's from one vcloud tenant to another. VM's have "Static - Manual" IP setting.
When I replicate them, I get a warning
"Static IP address has been detected for the VM. Static IP addresses are not supported by target organization VDC network settings and will be replaced with dynamic addresses on the replica VM. "
And during failover network is not mapped to NIC, I have to manually set it. Network is mapped to vapp though so network remapping should be ok. And I can change the setting from DHCP to "static manual" after failover.
This seems very strange, what network setting could prevent static IP?

Re: Vcloud - Vcloud replication warning with static IP
We just set the IP Mode to DHCP in the NIC properties of the VM in vCD.
The VM's themselves have static IP's and this doesn't affect it at all.

Yeah, that works but it's a bit of a hack
