I had a server report in to SCOM that one of its drives may be corrupt and needs to run chkdsk. I checked the server and it is a VEAM server with the "transport" component. What does this server do, any documentation on it? I tried a quick google, but could not find what i wanted.
I am on VEAM 9.5

Re: VEAM "transport" component
Transport comonen/Service is used as a source or target data transport server.
For example it is used Proxy to read data from VMware or write backup files. Please check with the B&R administrator.
If it is the backup target server and the backup data is local on this server visible (corrupt data message), you need to instantly look into this to avoid data loss.
