Veeam 10.0 SQL DB Move

Post by Kazz »

Hi,

We would like to move our veeam db from express to standard.
The process of moving the DB and LOG files seems to be straight forward as explained here https://www.veeam.com/kb1250. The second step of switching to the new server does not seem to be the same for 10.0 as it was for 9.5 https://helpcenter.veeam.com/archive/ba ... ility.html

We don't have Veeam.Backup.DBConfig.exe under C:\Program Files\Veeam\Backup and Replication\Backup
Is there a new KB for 10.0?

Thanks

Hi Kazz,
current used SQL Instance and DB name could be found in registry under HKLM\Software\Veeam\Veeam Backup and Replication\ keys "SQLInstanceName" and "SQLDatabseName", authentication method is based on your SQL instance settings.
/Thanks!
