Veeam 5.0.2 can not connect to vcenter 4.1

Post by onsik »

HI

We seems to have problem with Veeam 5.0.2 loging into vcenter 4.1

Client error: Cannot get service content.
Soap fault. HTTP ErrorDetail: 'HTTP/1.1 503 Service Unavailable', endpoint:

I was planning to remove vcenter from Veeam console and readded again
The question I have is:
Is there any risk for exisitng jobs. Do I need to recreate the backup jobs ?

Mariusz, in fact you cannot remove vCenter from Veeam B&R console if it is used by existing jobs. You need to edit all the jobs first. I suggest upgrading to the latest version and, if the issue persists, investigating the reason with our technical support as probably addressing the issue would be easier. Looks like some sort of connectivity issue.

HI Foggy

Thanks for your reply. So even if I stop all of the jobs, but do not remove them from backup I am not able to remove vcenter.
Is that correct.
