veeam 8 offsite backup

i have a single vmware esxi 5.5 host and im running veeam 8.0 essentials. i run daily backups to a share on a synology ds1513 nas device then i backup the veeam backup files to the offsite ds1513 synology. this works fine during the week without issue. on saturdays when veeam does the synthetic full process and the offsite backup job runs again on sunday the offsite backup is completly wiped out and the backup runs as if it were a whole new backup. i tell the synology backup to run a block level backup which is only the changes but like i said the backup is wiped out offsite. someone please help with this.

Are saying that after primary backup job has created a synthetic full backup, backup copy job creates an incremental file of the size comparable to the size of full backup, thus, taking more time than usual? Thanks.
