Veeam 8 Replication from Backups advice

Hello everyone.
I have brought our NAS and ESXi server to our main office for some reconfiguration, mainly we would like to replicate during production hours.
I have been experimenting with replication from backups, the only issue is this seems to run very slowly on our system.
A little info about our system
ESXI 5.5 connected to NAS via gigabit, Using NFS MTU 9000
This is the case for the Production and DR configuration
Our replication seems to be using Network mode, but I have it set to use virtual appliance...
Previously when not using replicate from backups, I got around a 56MBS processing speed. Now it seems to be around 5MBs
I am wondering if there is anything I can do to fix this.

What is the bottleneck statistics for this replication job?

The job is till running at the moment, however it is reporting that the Target is the bottleneck.

Please tell us full bottleneck stats when the replication job finishes. As to the performance issue, then it would be useful to know if you had the same target for both jobs (from backups and from the ESXi host).

What bottleneck it reported previously (during regular replication) and what transport mode is being utilized on target?

Network, and Network Mode. Normally it is over WAN, but we brought our DR site to the office, so that we could start a full replica. That worked but when we switched to Replicate from Backups, this started

You've said you set it to use virtual appliance mode on target - did it give any performance increase?
