We have installed Nimble HF40 all flash array and integrated this with Veeam 9.5 U4 latest update. Though I have not tested any integration feature as of now only using 3PAR lun presented to Veeam server (3PAR not integrated)
I am confused how nimble storage snapshots are different with normal veeam snapshot. Only difference I can see, earlier veeam was taking snapshot on mounted datastore of esxi and copies data to the lun mounted on veeam server and consolidate VM on source ESXI. I wan't to know -
1. What is the main difference between standard veeam snapshot backup and the one taken with Nimble storage snapshot.
2. What is the main benefit using Nimble storage based snapshot over standard standard veeam backup !
I would appreciate if someone can guide on this.
