Veeam B&R backup to tape job settings

Hy!

I will configure a backup to tape job which will run every day 11am. Do I have to enable the Process latest full backup chain only checkbox in the advanced settings?

I understand what means this option, but when do I have to enable? I interpret it If the source job has number of backup chain and the backup to tape job run rarely for example monthly or more.

The answer here is "it depends" based on what you are trying to accomplish. If you want all backup chains sent to tape then don't check this but if you are looking for only the latest backup chain going to tape then check this option.
