We are thinking about purchasing two Nimble storage arrays, one for our data center and one for our disaster recovery site
We also have a 10TB Exagrid box I would like to place at our ISP
Our data center and disaster recovery site have a 10 gig fiber connection. Our campus and our ISP which is 20 miles away are connected at 500Mbps
We would use Veeam in one of two ways for backup
Veeam does a backup job from our data center to our DR site (Nimble to Nimble) and then a backup copy job to the Exagrid
Veeam does a backup job from our data center straight to the Exagrid
Would the second method be advisable given the 500Mbps connection from campus to our ISP?

Re: Veeam backup across 500Mbps connection
Hello,
The first method is more wise since you will have 2 copies of backup and initial backup job will be executed faster.
