Veeam Backup Forced Consolidation Snapshot

Post by RobRunVirt »

Hi All,

I have 2 snapshots called: Veeam Backup Forced Consolidation Snapshots.
They're about 2 weeks old. Can I delete them without any harm?
I have never seen this before.

Many thanks in advance for your reply.

Regards,
Roberto

Hi Roberto,

Do you see these snapshots in the Snapshot Manager?

Thanks!

Had a brief discussion with the QA team, the answer is you can delete it without any impact.

Thanks!

Not sure I would consider it a new issue - and seems more people are seeing this problem with storage snaps. never used to be a problem until update 4

If you feel that Update 4 has been a reason for the experienced issue, open a support ticket and let our support engineers confirm your environment. Thanks!
