Veeam Backup & Replication 12 SNMP version

Hello Everyone, I would like to check if anyone managed to configure SNMP v2c for Veeam Backup & Replication? I understand that Veeam Backup & Replication supports SNMP versions 1 and 2 (including v2c and v2p), however when configuring SNMP in Veeam Backup, there are no options for me to select Version 2, on my monitoring system end I'm able to see that VBR is sending SNMP v1. Thank you

Hi Roundrobin,
SNMP v1 and v2x are essentially the same in terms of communication techniques and there is no need to specifically set v2 version - channel will remain the same, message format will not change either.
Also note, that while Backup & Replication has a basic SNMP integration, Veeam ONE offers much more advanced ways to monitor backup infrastructure, including SNMPv3 support.

Thank you for your reply, appreciate it! Just wanted to further confirm, if I have a security requirement which is to use v2 instead of v1, is there any way for me to enforce it to use v2?

No such enforcement in Veeam Backup & Replication SNMP configuration.
To satisfy the requirement, you will have to get traps from Veeam ONE.
