Veeam Backup & Replication 9.5

Post by shahidmgh »

I want to take backup of VM having 4x large size of disks i.e 1 TB, 500 GB, 330 GB and 1.3 TB respectively. As soon as i start to take backup of said VM, snapshot capturing activity tarts and my VM becomes unresponsive on network and therefore end users suffers.
Is there any safe way that VM could not stop during said activity?

You can try to reproduce the same behaviour without backup server. Open a vSphere client, select the VM, take a snapshot and see whether similar symptoms show up.

If so, you can switch to protecting this machine with agents that do not involve any snapshot activity.

Thanks!
