All,
I'm running the Community Edition of Veeam Backup. I'd like it to send me emails upon job completion via Exchange Server 2019. I've entered the correct settings, port numbers etc in Veeam but when I try to send a test message it fails saying "Unable to connect to SMTP server because of invalid credentials or connection settings".
Do I need to configure anything on the Exchange side? It's a brand new out of box install with just a standard send connector and receive connector installed.

Re: Veeam Commuity Edition - mail notification issue
Hi Colin,
Any chance your SMTP server requires authentication? If so, could you please make sure you have configured the credentials for it.
Thanks

Fedor,
It's working now, was a DNS issue.. Should have looked there earlier!
