Veeam different locations 1 vCenter

Post by karlochacon »

i guys

I have this scenario.

Our company owns 2 more companies, for the moment IP ranges are different well I mean our vCenter is let say 192.168.10.20 and our vCenter is going to be used a Disaster Recovery Site.

Company A: vCenter 192.168.30.31
Company B: Vcenter 192.168.40.50
(just to say something)

for security reasons I cannot let those companies find out about my real vCenter IP 192.168.10.20 so I was thinking to NAT my vCenter IP and show 2 ips one for each company do replication two different IPs nated for each company (I am not sure if this is possible and vCenter will worked NATting two IPs to two sites)

is that possible with Veeam? I mean there is going to be Veeam in company A and Company B replicating

thanks a lot

Hello Carlos,

If Veeam backup server installed in each site would be able to access the vCenter Server by the IP provided, then I don't see any issues here. You might also need to use this setting to make it work > Replication over NAT (Internet)

Let me know if that helps!
