Veeam Exchange 2013
So just bought Veeam to replace Bexec 2012, and was told Veeam cannot see the ISCSI LUNS feeding the Data and Logs Drives. For those who are using Veeam to back up Exchange 2010/2013, are you guys running the data/log drives off the NFS Volumes? If no how are you using Veeam to back up if your using ISCSI?

Re: Veeam Exchange 2013
Hi, Christian,
You're right, indeed. The disks connected via ISCSI initiator cannot be snapshoted, and thus are automatically skipped from processing. You should move these disks to the vmdk or at least to vRDM in order for VB&R to backup them.
Thanks.

Agreed, was doing loads of research last night, leaning to a small VMFS-5 Vol to dump one of the DAG servers on for the sake of backing up.

There is an article describing best trick and tips for backing up virtual Exchange/DAG; might be worth reading. Thanks.
