Hi All,
I am currently having problems when using Veeam FLR on a large File Server Backup.
Veeam case number: 02041979
Outline:
Veeam Backup server is a VM
16vCPU
32GB Ram
Veeam version 8.0.0.2084
VM to restore is a windows 2008r2 File server 5TB with multiple volumes. Trying to restore a file using FLR, the FLR software starts and then the backup VM restarts itself. I have disabled the Anti-Virus whilst performing the FLR
I have tested with another backup, smaller in size. This seems ok.

Re: Veeam FLR Technical Problem
Hi Matt, do you mean that backup server reboots after starting FLR for this file server? Do you see any related messages in the Event log on the backup server?

Re: Veeam FLR Technical Problem
Hi Foggy.
Yes, the FLR starts and then the Veeam VM restarts.
I managed to restore the file using instant recovery (same backup as I was trying to use on FLR).,
Veeam support has asked me to update to 9.5 due to the updates on how FLR works.

Re: Veeam FLR Technical Problem
Updating to the most recent version is always recommended. If you keep seeing the same behavior, feel free to ask your engineer for a closer investigation.
