We have a vCenter with attached iscsi-SAN storage and Veeam which makes the backup on local discs.
Everything is working fine, fast, no problems.
A few days ago we had to restore a VM with 2,5TB of data.
We decided to start the "instant recovery" Tool from Veeam and we where up in 5min.
Everything seems ok.
After a couple of hours we decided to start "Migrate to production" on the same host and the datastore destination on SAN.
Veeam decided to migrate the data with vMotion.
Everything seems ok until 33% and next try with 34%.
We received following error message: "Relocating VM Error: A general system error occured: The source detected that the destination failed to resume" and " Failed to proces VM "XY" at "date" Error: A general system error occurred: The source detected that the destination failed to resume."
We tried another machine, but with only 100GB and everything was going fine.
Any idea?
Is there a higher timeout to set or how to resolve the problem next time?
Thank you

Re: Veeam Instant Recovery - Migrate to production
Hi, Alexander. We will need to review the debug logs to understand the actual reason for the failure. The error does not look like higher timeout would fix it. Thanks!

Yes, please upload the entire debug log package instead of posting some snippets that you think might be relevant to the issue. The information required is usually scattered across multiple log files. Thanks!
