Hello All,
We are currently planning to implement vSAN in our DC site and shift our 3-Tier system to DR site. We are planning to use Veeam to backup and replicate the VM. So, my question is regarding the integration of Veeam and vSAN to replicate my DC VM's residing on vSAN to DR site which is using traditional FC based storage. Will there be any complication to this. Or we will need to implement vSAN on both DC and DR site to replicate VM's. Also, will there be any issung restoring the machine residing on vSAN to another FC based datastore. I will be very grateful for any suggestion.
Thanks.

Re: Veeam integration with vSAN for Replication and Backup.
Hello,
and welcome to the forums.
We do VM-based replication and the storage used is irrelevant. You can try it out with a trial version and I also recommend to check the quick-start guide.
Best regards,
Hannes
