Hello everyone.
My question is related to the changes with *.vmx file that occurs with VM backed up by Veeam B&R v7.
THere is a virtual environment with information security software that controls integrity of *.vmx files. Manual re-calculation of checksums is required after any changes to *.vmx file.
And there problem arises: when Veeam does the first backup of secured VM we need to shutdown/suspend VM for checksum re-calculation because some lines are added to the *.vmx (ctk.enabled).
Can you confirm that Veeam manipulations with *.vmx happens only during the first full backup? Can I find any information about Veeam changes to *.vmx file?

Re: Veeam manipulations with *.vmx file
This VMX modification is required to enable CBT for the backed up VM on the first job run. Unless you do not disable it later (e.g. in VM settings dialog), there should not be any other modifications performed to the source VM configuration file (at least I can't think of any). Thanks.
