Veeam Port Requirement

Hello,

I have building new backup infrastructure in our environment.
I checked port requirement page but I didnt a case.

At the link under the Backup Proxy , There are two case From:Backup Proxy To:Backup proxy (Microsoft Windows) as a secondly From:Backup Proxy To:Backup proxy and there are different ports.
Which one is corrent or need twice ports.
Sample: Am I need to communicate Backup Server to Proxy 445,135,6160,6162,49152 to 65535,2500 to 3300,6210

Welcome to the forum.
May I ask, did you wanted to write Backup Server to Backup Proxy (Windows)?
I cannot find
- From: Backup Proxy
- To: Backup proxy (Microsoft Windows)

For normal backup jobs, I can see this two port requirements for proxies:
- Backup Server to Backup Proxy (Windows)
- Backup Server to Backup Proxy

You need to open ports for both requirements.

Backup Proxy to Gateway Server
Is used if you have one of the following backup repository types:
- SMB / NFS
- object storage with non-direct connections.
- some deduplication appliances

The Backup Proxy reads the VM data from your production environment and then sends it to the Veeam Gateway Server. The Veeam Gateway Server will write the data to the target storage.

Backup Proxy to Backup Proxy
Only used if you configure Veeam Replication jobs with source and target Backup proxy server:
Replication Directly over Backup Proxies
