VEEAM PORTS

Post by jamerson »

Dear All,
We have limited our outgoing ports on the LAN side.
after we applied the firewall rules VEEAM couldn't detect the storage because the ESXI is on a different rage as the VEEAM Server.
Can you advies which ports to allow in the lan in order to keep the veeam up and running wihout any issues

Thank you

In case you have only the ESXi host and vcenter on another network,
you need at minimum
TCP443 to vcenter
and
TCP443,902 to ESXi host. (additional ports needed if you want to use Instant VM Recovery/VirtualLab/LinuxFLR).

port 902 is open and the esxi is detecting the storages.

Hey,

You can review the list of all Used Ports by Veeam in the User Guide here. Thanks!
