Veeam Quick Migration & Backups

Hi All

Quick question - if you have a server that is backed up with Veeam, then you migrate to different hardware using Veeam Quick Migration, are you still able to use the same backup files? To prevent having to reseed?

Hi,

Quick migration changes VM's unique ID (morefid), therefore in order to use the same backup chain you have to perform backup mapping.
