Post by yps »

Hi, can I setup a group of VMs that will be replicated, and if add more VMs to this group, will this be automatic replicated with veeam?

Hi Magnus,

Yes, you can do this. Just use VM containers (folders, resource pools, hosts, datastores) as a source for the replication job. This will allow you to replicate all new VMs placed in this folder.

Thanks!

Sounds great.

Where are the replicas saved when using replication? between the vmdk files or on veeam server?

Replication jobs create VM replicas on the ESX(i) server where you've pointed your replication jobs to.
